Bike Bakersfield will obtain the permits, provide the rack, and even install the rack; all you need to provide is the cash. More here.

Volunteer for Bike Bakersfield

This program will match members of the community up so that people new to bike commuting can have an experienced teacher. The hope is that people who go through the program turn around and do the same for someone else.
