Bike Bakersfield's
list of goals for 2010

To unite the biking community.

To increase membership and ridership in Bakersfield.

To create the first Safe Routes to School a success at Almondale and Palla Elementary. They will be the first of five schools in Kern County to be implemented in this ongoning, national project.

To increase commuting by means of alternative transporation, i.e: biking, walking, ride share, public transportation, by 10& by 2020.

 

Need a Bike Rack?
Bike Bakersfield will obtain the permits, provide the rack, and even install the rack; all you need to provide is the cash. More here.
