Sponsorship Levels

Throughout Bakersfield Bike month we will be promoting a multi-media campaign with events, discounts, and educational programs to encourage people to ride their bikes. Your donation not only helps fund these bike month events, but also ensures Bike Bakersfield’s continuing programs throughout the year. We are offering three different opportunities for sponsorship, they are as follows:

Monetary

Steel: $250-$499

Aluminum: $500-$999

Carbon Fiber: $1000-$4999

Titanium: $5000 and up

Retailer Discounts for Bicyclist
Along with monetary sponsorships, we are also looking for local business to give discounts to people who ride their bikes to those businesses. This would be a 15% or higher discount to anyone who rides to a business, during Bike Month, to make a purchase. Time period and levels of discounts are up to the business. By joining in promoting Bike Month, businesses will receive a window sticker and other promotional items. They would also be given first opportunity at booth space for our May events.

Becoming a “Bicycle Friendly Work Place”
Another way to get involved is to consider becoming a “Bicycle Friendly Work Place.” Any employer that chooses to participate in this program will also receive our help in implementing a “Bicycle Friendly Work Place” and “Bike Buddy” program as well as our promotion of their business through our events, newsletter, and website.

Benefits of Sponsorship
Through sponsorship you will gain advertising concurrent with that level of sponsorship. At the Aluminum level or higher and you will get exposure at one or more events. This will include your company/ business’s logo and name on banners and flyers as well as other promotional items we create for the events. Your company/business would also be given the right to use our logo on promotional items for a time period dependent on level of sponsorship. Anyone who donates up to the steel level ($250-$499) will also appear on our website and newsletter concurrent with level of sponsorship. Benefits of sponsorship are the following for each level.

Steel
-name on website and newsletter for 3 months

Aluminum
-name on website and newsletter for 6 months
-logo on banners at one event

Carbon Fiber
-name on website and newsletter for one year
-logo on banners and t-shirts at both May events

Titanium
-name on website and newsletter for one year
-logo on banners and t-shirts at all events for one year
